Raise Your Voice Mural Project

The goal of Raise Your Voice is to give students a platform to learn and express their voice through the arts.
Through a year-long after-school art workshop, students were invited to create one mural per semester. Puffin helped us create one of these murals, designed and painted by youth on their campus. Ten students were mentored by three artist mentors from Phoenix, who led them through the history of hip hop, murals, and graffiti art and the purpose of expression.

Many students who used to get in trouble for tagging were involved and started to realize the power of their talents in a community setting.
